    SSANA is a syringe services program serving the Greater Nashua Region. SSANA is a community-based public health program that provides comprehensive harm reduction services such as sterile needles, syringes, and injection equipment; safe disposal containers for needles and syringes; HIV and hepatitis testing and linkage to treatment; overdose prevention education and how to use Naloxone, a medication used to reverse overdose; referral to substance use disorder treatment, including medication-assisted treatment; referral to medical, mental health, and social services; and tools to prevent HIV, STDs, and hepatitis including counseling, condoms, and vaccinations.

    Every year, the City of Nashua Division of Public Health and Community Services hosts a summer photography project for middle school aged youth in the Greater Nashua Public Health Region (GNPHR) to promote positive behaviors. This project, known as PhotoVoice, is a program used worldwide that allows individuals to explore important topics within a community and express themselves through photography by breaking past communication barriers that often prevent them from expressing their concerns. Join us in viewing the stories that Greater Nashua Youth have to share through photos! This year's theme is "Who or what makes your resilient?".

    The City of Nashua Division of Public Health and Community Services offers adult and child immunizations. Anyone under 18 years of age needs to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Clinics are by appointment. Schedule an appointment by calling 603-589-4500, option 2.
