  1. Voter Registration - Last Day for Changes to Checklist Before Filing Period

    October 24, 2020, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ 14 Court Street

    The Registrar of Voters will be in session Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 10, 2020, and October 17, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and on Saturday, October 24, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 14 Court Street for additions and corrections to the checklist. This will be the last day that the City Clerk will accept voter registration applications or make corrections to the checklist prior to the filing period for the State General Election on November 3, 2020. The Board of Registrars will meet on Monday, October 26, 2020, at 10 a.m. The meeting will be conducted remotely in accordance with Governor’s Emergency Order #12, pursuant to Executive Order 2020-04.

    Proof of age, identity and where you live are required to register to vote in New Hampshire. Proof of citizenship is only required if you are a naturalized U.S. Citizen, in which case bring your U.S. Passport or naturalization papers with you when you come to register to vote. If you do not have these documents readily available, you may sign an affidavit at the time of registration

    The City Clerk’s Office is now operating remotely at 14 Court Street – Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Saturday, October 17th 10am-2pm, and Saturday, October 24th 10am-12pm -- the voter registration deadline is Oct. 24th at noon.. Please stop by to register to vote and/or to request an absentee ballot.
