learning about the issues of extreme poverty and exploring pathways to
success. You will share stories and learn from local experts as you sleep
out in a cardboard box and experience a small semblance of what our
homeless population experiences day in and day out. You will join together
in support of our community in a unique and deeply satisfying
way. We invite you to join us this year in Sleeping United to End Hunger
& Homelessness.

2nd Annual CrossFit TUFF Charity Row-A-Thon2018-09-22T08:00:00Teams of 5-10 people will be rowing a marathon (42,195 meters) to raise awareness and help the Nashua Special Olympics (NSO) continue their mission of building opportunities for athletes. 100% of the profits from this event will be donated to Nashua Special Olympics. Athlete sign-ups are only $50 per athlete - reserve your spot NOW as rowers are filling up fast! This event is open to the public and free to spectate. Nashua Out of the Darkness Walk2018-09-22T10:00:00When you walk in the Out of the Darkness Walks, you join the effort with hundreds of thousands of people to raise awareness and funds that allow the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss. Thanks to walkers and donors like you, AFSP has been able to set a goal to reduce the annual suicide rate 20% by 2025. Those who raise $150 or more will receive an official Out of the Darkness Walk T-shirt. We look forward to seeing you at the walk!

Conquer Chiari Walk2018-09-22T10:30:00Pheasant Lane Mall is teaming up with Conquer Chiari to host the 2018 Conquer Chiari Walk Across America in Nashua. The walk will be part of a series of coordinated awareness/fundraising walks held across the country on the third and fourth Saturday of September dedicated to raising awareness of Chiari Malformation and to raise money for valuable research. Chiari Malformation is a neurological disorder where the brain descends out of the skull and puts pressure on the spine, causing a wide range of symptoms (including severe headaches, neck pain, balance problems, weakness in the arms and legs, and respiratory problems) and a tremendous strain on patients and their families. Area residents of all fitness levels are invited to participate and walk distances are flexible.
