The City Clerk’s Office is now operating remotely at 14 Court Street. Please stop by to register to vote and/or to request an absentee ballot.
Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Saturday, October 17th 10am-2pm
Saturday, October 24th 10am-12pm -- the voter registration deadline is Oct. 24th at noon
Proof of age, identity and where you live are required to register to vote in New Hampshire. Proof of citizenship is only required if you are a naturalized U.S. Citizen, in which case bring your U.S. Passport or naturalization papers with you when you come to register to vote. If you do not have these documents readily available, you may sign an affidavit at the time of registration.
The following items are examples of acceptable documentation:
Proof of Age: Driver’s license or birth certificate.
Proof of Identity: Driver’s license, state-issued ID, student ID or passport.
Proof of Address: Driver’s license, state-issued ID, motor vehicle registration with current address, utility bill or lease.
Absentee ballots may be filled out on-site or taken to complete in the convenience of your home.
You may also return your absentee ballot IN HAND at 14 Court Street or by delivering it IN HAND to the city greeter located at the back entrance of City Hall.
Parking is available at City parking garages, on-street, or Library (fees may apply) Public parking is not available at 30 Temple street.
The City’s Board of Registrars is also hosting in-person voter registration in the plaza in front of the Nashua Public Library through Saturday, October 24th.
