Paving continues on Amherst Street today, 10/31. Paving will start this afternoon near Henri Burque Highway and progress south/eastbound towards the intersection with Broad Street. Initially there will be one lane open in both directions, but starting at 9pm as paving moves towards Broad Street north/westbound traffic will be detoured. Traffic will be impacted - particularly during rush hour. Please avoid this area if possible and seek alternate routes. It is possible that work will continue overnight into the early hours of Thursday morning.
