Beginning October 2018, Nashua Transit System will be expanding our service to offer a new route—the Downtown Connector (Route 11). The goal of this pilot route is to alleviate parking congestion by providing transportation from the Crown Street Park & Ride and the Elm Street parking garage to destinations in downtown Nashua. This new route will better service the Crown Hill and French Hill neighborhoods by increasing access to the downtown area and the Nashua Transit Center.
Service will run Monday through Friday from 5:50 am-8:18 pm, departing every 30 minutes throughout the day and every 15 minutes during peak commute hours of 7:50 am-10 am. The increased frequency of service will reduce wait times, better facilitate traveling to work, while also allowing ample time for patrons to run quick errands and grab a bite to eat.
The Downtown Connector will begin at the Crown Street Park & Ride and service bus stops along Canal Street as well as provide service to popular downtown destinations and the Elm Street parking garage.
Destinations will include: Main Street businesses, High Street & Elm Street Parking garages, the Nashua Transit Center, BAE, Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, the Post Office, Hillsborough County Superior Court, and the Nashua Public Library.
Service will begin October 1st, 2018. For more information please visit the links below:
