There are many factors that can affect our Paving Schedule and this list is subject to change without notice. The City has hired engineering consultant Hayner-Swanson, Inc. and Stantec to assist the City with street selection for paving. Selection criteria includes, among other things, identifying roads that are in distress. In addition, coordination with Liberty Utilities and Pennichuck Water is also done to ensure that infrastructure associated with their capital projects are completed prior to the road being paved. Once a street is paved, there is a 5 year rule that prohibits cutting into a newly paved street unless there is an emergency situation.
