The Nashua Transit System is excited to announce that beginning September 5th 2017; we will begin a pilot program providing limited service to Walmart in Amherst. The pilot is based on the response of a community outreach effort undertaken while developing the NTS Comprehensive Plan for 2016-2025. During the outreach, multiple forms of communication showed an overwhelming request by NTS customers for round trip service to Walmart.
Service will connect with the Routes 2 and 2A. Buses will run Tuesdays and Fridays, departing from Westside Plaza beginning at 8:15AM. Departures will occur every half hour, at the fifteen and forty-five minute past the hour mark. Last bus will depart from Walmart at 11:55AM.
An additional fare will be required for the service (No free transfers). NTS passes and ride cards will be accepted, however free senior ID cards will not be accepted. Fare information for the service is listed below:
ADULT | $1.25 |
HONORED CITIZEN | $0.60 |
STUDENT | $0.75 |
