Nashua Transit System intends to submit an application for capital assistance to provide transportation to seniors and individuals with disabilities pursuant to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5310 – Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program. Nashua Transit System will request funding for the acquisition of one Low-Floor Cutaway 15 Passenger Van, to provide contracted para-transit services to the Souhegan Valley Transportation Collaborative. The estimated value of the FTA grant is $110,500 which represents 85% of the estimated total cost of the vehicle.
