Attend this free workshop to learn how to become DBE certified, and the benefits for your business!
The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program is designed to remedy ongoing discrimination and the continuing effects of past discrimination in federally-assisted highway, transit and airport contracting nationwide. The intent of the DBE program is to level the playing field by providing small businesses owned and controlled by women and minorities with the opportunity to compete for work on federally funded transportation contracts.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation administers the DBE program within the state and provides certification for qualified women and minority owned firms. DBE’s are listed in a statewide directory reviewed by prime contractors when subcontracting on federal aid projects and have access to supportive services to assist with their development and removal of barriers for work on federal contracts.
