Main Street Paving to Begin September 5th
The City will begin paving Main Street starting Tuesday, September 5th
Activity and Schedule –
· Barrier Removal – 9/5
· Casting Prep/Crosswalk Prep/Utility Prep – 9/5 to 9/8
· Pavement Milling – 9/11 to 9/15
· Base Paving – 9/16 (Saturday)
· Casting/Utility Adjustment – 9/18 to 9/22
· Finish Paving – 9/23 (Saturday)
· Pavement Markings – 9/25 to 9/29

Work Hours – 5:00AM to 4:00PM
Traffic – A minimum of one lane of traffic will be open in each direction during construction. While there will be construction throughout the month of September, major delays can be anticipated during the following activities – Pavement Milling | Base Paving | Finish Paving. To the best of our ability, all disruptions will be kept to a minimum. Variable message boards will be posted around the work zone to alert the public.
Parking – Parking will be restricted during major work activities
