[ARCHIVED] Household Hazard Waste Collection 8/28 TO BE HELD IN PELHAM, NH

The next Household Hazardous Waste collection will be held IN PELHAM AT THE PELHAM MUNICIPAL BULDING - 6 VILLAGE GREEN on Saturday August 28th from 8am-12pm.  Residents of Nashua and 10 surrounding communities may bring hazardous materials to the event for proper disposal; acceptable wastes include oil-based paints, pesticides, varnish, wood preservatives, thinners, pesticides, pool chemicals, antifreeze, oil-based paints, lithium and button batteries, and driveway sealers. There is a $15 fee per car for up to 10 gallons or 20 pounds.  NO latex paint, used oil, asbestos, or smoke detectors will be accepted.   For more information please go to the NRPC website at: https://www.nashuarpc.org/ener.../household-hazardous-waste/
