Public Notice: City of Nashua, NH DBE Participation Goal 2022-2024
The City of Nashua Transit System established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program and Policy (DBE Program) in accordance with the regulations of the Federal Transit Administration of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), 49 CFR Part 26. Nashua Transit System (NTS) receives Federal financial assistance for the operation of its public bus transit system from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and has established its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation Goal for Federal Fiscal Years 2022, 2023, and 2024. The DBE goal is 7% for the goal period on all funds that Nashua will expend on (non-rolling stock) projects funded by the Department of Transportation.
A description of the goal methodology is available for public inspection for 30 days following the date of this notice between the hours of 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday at the Nashua Transit Administration Building located at 11 Riverside St. View an electronic copy of the DBE goal. The DBE goal and goal revisions may be found on the NTS website at www.ridebigblue.com through September 30, 2024.
Public Comment
Nashua Transit System will accept public comment on the proposed goal for a period of 45 days from the date of this notice. NTS will submit the DBE goal to the FTA on August 1, 2021. Comments may be directed to Camille Correa, NTS Transit Administrator:
