Sewer and water work will begin on Water Street beginning Monday, September 14th and work is expected to last 4-6 weeks. Initially, the impact will only be to the parking area for Renaissance Park. The only entrance/exit will be where the current entrance is now located. The road under the Water Street overpass will be closed to traffic. Eventually, as work progresses, Water Street will become one way only (westbound) with traffic being able to enter on Main Street and travel to Factory Street. Traffic heading towards Main Street (eastbound) will not be allowed to enter Water Street and will be routed down Factory Street towards Main Street instead. If at all possible, please avoid this area and seek alternate routes during this important repair work.
