Nashua Transit System regards the safety of our passengers and staff as our No. 1 priority. The decision to increase bus operations is consistent with the CDC’s latest guidelines pertaining to mass transit operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nashua Transit System is committed to increasing service levels as conditions allow.

NTS will continue with the new safety measures that were introduced during Phase 1. Buses are running with a significantly reduced passenger capacity to maintain physical distancing. Hand sanitizer dispensers have been installed on all vehicles. Passengers are asked to board through the rear door of the bus unless they need the assistance of the driver to kneel the bus or to use the wheelchair ramp. Passengers are asked to not ride the bus if feeling ill or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, wear a face mask when riding the bus, as well as maintain a physical distance of 6 feet whenever possible.

The Transit Center waiting area is now open. The ticket counter and restrooms remain closed until further notice. Passengers may use the public bathrooms next door located in Nashua City Hall.
