Nashua Transit System is excited to announce that we have been awarded funds from the 2020 Federal Transit Administration’s Low/No Emissions Grant program! These funds total $356,046 and will be used to replace 2 of our oldest diesel-powered passenger vans with 2 new electric hybrid vans! Grant funds will also be utilized to replace a supervisor vehicle that has been in service since 1999 and install an electric charging station. NTS is thrilled to continue reducing emissions, making Nashua a more sustainable community.
