Hiking the White Mountains’ Terrifying 25

Patricia Ellis Herr, author of Up: A Mother and Daughter’s Peakbagging Adventure, and daughters Alexandra (16) and Sage (14) created the Terrifying 25 list for their own amusement, since they enjoy trails with scrambles, rock slides, ladders, and boulder caves. Come learn about some “interesting” gnarly trails that will make you ask, “Are you sure that’s the trail? Really?” Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing. Sponsored by the Appalachian Mountain Club.
