Filing Period - Candidates for Municipal General Election

Tuesday, August 27, 2019

The period to file petitions and acceptance of nominations papers, for Alderman-at-Large, Board of Public Works, Board of Education, Fire Commissioner, Ward Alderman, Ward Moderator, Ward Clerk, Ward Selectmen, will begin on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at 8 a.m. in the Office of the City Clerk. The filing period will close on Friday, September 6, 2019, at 5 p.m. The drawing for positions on the ballot will occur on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 3 p.m., in the Aldermanic Chamber, 2nd Floor City Hall. The Municipal General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.
