Conway Ice Arena Commission

Commission Description


There shall be an ice rink commission that shall oversee the use of the premises, and compliance with this lease agreement [12-4-2002, filed at Office of City Clerk]. The ice rink commission shall have approval authority over all operations (including but not limited to fees, hours of operation, scheduling, maintenance, concessions, operational budget, subleases, advertising, and use of facility), construction, and alterations….The ice rink commission shall annually approve a budget and an operational plan by a majority (4-member) vote. During that year, any subsequent changes to the approved budget and operational plan will require a 5-member affirmative vote. The ice rink commission shall consist of the following seven (7) persons: the mayor of the city of Nashua or his or her designee; the president of the board of aldermen of the city of Nashua or his or her designee; the chairperson of the city of Nashua’s park and recreation advisory committee or his or her designee, who is also a member of the city of Nashua’s parks and recreation advisory committee; a member of the board of directors of the lessee or his or her designee; a member of the board of directors of the lessee or his or her designee; a member of the board of directors of the lessee or his or her designee; a person chosen by at least four (4) other members of the ice rink commission.

About the Commission


The Conway Ice Rink Commission shall have approval authority over all operations including but not limited to fees, hours of operation, scheduling, maintenance, concessions, operational budget, subleases, advertising, and use of the facility.
