Bus Fares

Rides on the NTS fixed route bus can be acquired using cash, tickets, or passes. Bus fare is available physically or online. To purchase fare online, use the Token Transit app or website. Riders can pay for individual rides on the bus, however, drivers do not sell tickets or passes. Physical fare can be purchased at the NTS Transit Center Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 11:15am and 12:15pm - 4:45pm. 

PLEASE NOTE: NTS does not sell individual physical tickets and that all cash fares must be paid in exact change as NTS cannot make change on the bus or at the Transit Center!

One Ride

Cash fare must be paid with EXACT CHANGE. NTS does not make change.

Transfers are FREE. Riders must ask for a transfer slip when boarding if they plan to transfer buses. You will be required to pay for another trip if you do not have a transfer slip.

Special Passes & Fare Programs

Senior ID Cards*

Seniors 60 years and older are eligible for free rides on our fixed route service. To obtain an NTS Senior ID card, go to the NTS Transit Center (30 Elm St. Nashua, NH) and speak with the attendant at the ticket window. Seniors must provide proof of age by showing a photo ID with their date of birth, a birth certificate, or a Medicare card.

Summer Youth Pass

The Summer Youth Pass is available to students (ages 6 - 18) for $20 for unlimited rides on all NTS fixed route bus routes. This pass is active during the Nashua School District summer break from the last day of the school year to the first day of the next school year.

U-Pass Program

Rivier University and Nashua Community College students and staff are eligible for unlimited free rides on all NTS bus routes. Students and staff must show their college ID to ride for free.

Paratransit Services

Paratransit is a demand response service, by reservation, for riders qualified as having a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and those at least 65 years old. Please call (603) 880-0100 for fare information.
