The Nashua Assessing Department utilizes a computer-assisted mass appraisal (CAMA) system for valuations. A CAMA system is an automated system for maintaining property data, valuing property, notifying owners, and ensuring tax equity through uniform valuations.
The CAMA system uses various coding for assessments. Land Use Codes, Out Building or Special Feature Codes, Sub Area Codes and Style Codes are just a few of the categories used.
