Permits
Any type of work, alteration or new construction impacting a fire protection or a life safety system requires a permit from the Nashua Fire Marshal’s Office.

Fire Alarm
Plan submission requirements for review and approval can be found here. Please fill out the basic information on the Fire Alarm System Permit as part of the submission. The Final Acceptance Certification must be submitted prior to scheduling the final inspection. Electronic submissions can be emailed to the Fire Marshals Office.

Demolition
Demolition of buildings require a permit to be issued. Electronic submissions can be emailed to the Fire Marshals Office.
Hot Works
Prior to performing Hot Work, please call our office to determine if the scope of work will require a hired detail. Electronic submissions can be emailed to the Fire Marshals Office.
Blasting
Blasting Permits have special stipulations and the information can be found here. Electronic submissions can be emailed to the Fire Marshals Office.
Underground Tank Removal/Abandonment
Underground tank removal/abandonment permit application can be found here. Electronic submissions can be emailed to the Fire Marshals Office.
Underground Propane Tank Installation
Underground propane tank installation requires a permit. Do not back fill a tank or associated gas tubing prior to an inspection by the Fire Marshal’s Office. Electronic submissions can be emailed to the Fire Marshals Office.
Underground Storage Tank - Other
Underground storage tank permit for other than propane can be found here. Do not backfill a tank without prior inspection by the Fire Marshal's Office. Electronic submissions can be emailed to the Fire Marshals Office.
Above Ground Storage Tank Installation
