Reasonable Modification Policy
It is the policy of the Nashua Transit System (NTS) to uphold and assure full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and all related statutes. ADA and related statutes provide that transportation entities are required to make reasonable modifications/accommodations to policies, practices, and procedures to avoid discrimination and ensure that their programs are accessible to individuals with disabilities under any program or activity receiving Federal assistance. Any individual, group of individuals or entity that wants NTS to modify its service to accommodate a disability may make a request for modification.
Real-time operational modification requests can be made directly with the driver or by calling dispatch at (603) 880-0100.
ADA Complementary Paratransit Appeal Process
If you feel that you have received an incorrect eligibility determination, you have the right to appeal.
ADA Complementary Paratransit Complaint Form
If you feel you have been discriminated against and would like to file a complaint against NTS or one of its employees, fill out a complaint form and NTS staff will review it and get back to you as soon as possible.
No-Show Policy
Nashua Transit System is happy to provide service to members of the community. The need for transportation is great and space is at an optimum. Please keep in mind that if you reserve a time slot for a trip it is very important that you call in advance to cancel if the van is no longer needed. Remember, this could open a spot for someone else!
Visitor Policy
NTS ADA Complementary Paratransit Service Visitor Policy applies to those who have been certified as "ADA Paratransit eligible" by another public entity and are seeking ADA Complementary Paratransit transportation.
