Dr. Crisp Playground Build Kickoff

AltText

On Tuesday, June 20th the Mayor attended the Playground Kick-Off event at Dr. Crisp Elementary School. He thanked Grace Tavares , Dr. Crisp’s home-school Coordinator and Robin Abodeely, the school nurse for their continued dedication to this project.  For over three years of fundraising events have been undertaken, which included craft fairs at Nashua North with many community partners. The mayor also thanked the many parents, administrators and teachers who also worked on this project.

The City wishes to recognize and express gratitude to  Lowe’s Charitable & Educational Foundation, who granted the additional funding to complete this project.  It is important that our children and our school communities have a safe and nurturing environment in which to play and exercise.

Over the next coming months, School Plant Operations will work to help install the playground, and we thank them for their efforts.  We look forward to the start of the next school year with an exciting new playground for our Dr. Crisp school community.
