Artist of the Month


In support of local area artists, the City of Nashua Mayor Donnalee Lozeau has invited members of the NAAA to participate in the new “Artist of the Month” exhibit at City Hall.

Justin McGonigle

Justin McGonigle is a self taught artist who has been painting for over twenty years. Over the years he has produced a large amount of work ranging from abstract expressionist paintings to still lifes to landscapes to self portraits.

Christine A. Ryan

Christine A. Ryan started marketing her passion of art in 2008 at local galleries, fund raisers and fine art shows in New England. Christine loves to paint just about anything. However, her focus has turned to landscapes, seascapes and floral. Christine enjoys traveling and her recent trips to Paris, Italy, a Vineyard in Niagra Falls, Turks and Caicos and day trips in New England have given her plenty of material to work from.

Bob Janules

Bob Janules splits his time at his home in Merrimack, NH and his cottage on Back Lake in Pittsburg, NH. His art focuses on nature photography (digital) with emphasis on nature’s patterns and textures.

Ron Plante

A lifelong artist, designer, illustrator and educator, Nashua native Ron Plante is devoted to the pursuit of excellence in fine art, illustration and visual communication.

Bonnie Guercio

Bonnie Guercio is a former art teacher for Clearway Alternative High School in Nashua, NH. She worked in that position for 20 years. Her undergraduate experience and 20+ years of teaching has taught her that mixed media collage is a remarkably inviting and engaging art form.

Jill Mudge

Jill Mudge originally grew up in Princeton, NJ. As a kid she started taking photos of friends, family and pets. After receiving her BFA in Photography at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, traveling abroad, and working in the field in NYC she received a Master’s Degree in Printing Technology at Rochester Institute of Technology. She formed NHDigitalWorks with the mission of providing enrichment programs to children in photography and computer graphic arts. www.nhdigitalworks.com.

Jill considers herself a fine arts photographer and enjoys taking photos of landscapes, nature, equestrians and just about anything. She loves working with computer programs, such as PhotoShop and Lightroom to enhance her photos and to create new abstract images through photomontage. She is active with local photography clubs and enjoys staying current with new ideas. Jill is a member of NAPP and the Nashua Artists Association. She lives in Nashua with her family, two cats and her two dogs, Goldie and Marcy, who provide great fun for her while hiking in the woods taking photos.

Lisa Greenleaf

Lisa Greenleaf grew up in the small coastal town of Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA and on the shores of Province Lake, NH. At a very young age, she found her passion in drawing and painting. In 1984, Lisa received her BA in Art from Keene State College and began working for an educational publishing company, Curriculum Associates, LLC, as a designer and illustrator.

In 2004, Lisa established Greenleaf Design Studio, a small company that provides clients with graphic design services, book publishing, illustrations, and fine arts.

Paula M. Charles – oil painter

Paula was born in 1951 in Boston, Massachusetts. She studied in pencil drawing, pen and inks and oil painting classes that included live model drawings throughout her lifetime. She attended Rivier College for charcoal and pencil drawings under artist Jafar Shoja.

She became avidly interested in oil painting because of the textures and colors they produce. They can be worked when wet or blended to soften areas where required. Paula develops her paintings as she works; sometimes to more different outcomes than planned! Oils can be painted in great detail or in soft, smoothing effects – that usually correspond to the moods and emotions of life.

Paula’s work can be seen at the Greeley Park Art Show, Amherst Fourth of July show and other local shows. She is a current member of the Chelmsford Art Society.

Paula has studied for over two years under Monique Sakellarious, a well known Nashua oil painting artist.

Currently, the subjects of her oil painting vary greatly from landscapes to floral designs and people. She has painted oil portraits of her father and granddaughter.

Paula enjoys living in Acton,MA with her fiancé Milt.

Kenneth Harvey

Ken Harvey began formal training in the arts at Pratt Institute in New York City. His interest in photography flourished when he joined the US Army and had access to a photo lab where he developed his own film. Since his retirement in 2006 from a career in information systems, Ken enjoys pursuing his love of photography and sharing his artistic eye through the lens of his camera.

Jayson Gleneck

Mr. Gleneck is a Digital Artist, whose professional career includes graphic design, web design, photography, illustration and video. He currently serves as an Information Technology Specialist with the National Disability Institute. Mr. Gleneck is a past President of the Nashua Area Artists Association.

Teresa Moler

Ms. Moler is a member of the Hollis Arts Society and works in watercolor, acrylics and mixed media. In addition to painting, Ms. Moler works as a puppeteer, using her creative and artistic abilities to create her own puppets. She has performed at various venues including the Greeley Park Art Show and Nashua’s Art Walk.

Joyce MacIntyre

Joyce MacIntyre graduated from Rivier College with a BA in Art.

She studied for a year at Ingbretson Studio in Manchester, NH.

Joyce has attended many workshops of prominent local artists such as oils with Dennis Sheehan and still life with Kathy Cooper. Joyce lives in Merrimack with her husband, Marvin.

Sandra J. Peters

Sandra is primarily a self-taught artist who works in pastels, oil, acrylic, watercolors and mixed media. She is an active member of the Nashua Area Artists Association and Co-Director of the Greeley Park Art Show.
