How do I get on your bid list so that future bids and requests for proposals that are relevant to my capabilities will be sent to me?
Fax, or mail, complete information on your firm including, name, address, phone, fax, and areas relevant to your capabilities, to the following address:

Can I still do business with the City of Nashua if I am not on your bid list?
If you are not on our bid list, you are still allowed to submit bids and proposals.

Where do I send my bid?

  • Bids/proposals shall be received only in the Purchasing Office:
    City Hall, 229 Main Street, Nashua, NH 03061
  • Bids/proposals may be mailed, express shipped or delivered in person during normal business hours.
  • Bids/proposals will not be accepted by fax or email. The City currently does not have the security available on either of these delivery methods to ensure confidentiality.
  • Bids/proposals must be received by the date and time cited on the Invitation for Bid/Request for Proposal.

How can I obtain a copy of the bid tabulation on a particular bid?

What criteria is used to award bids and proposals? 

  • Bids are awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
  • Requests for Proposal award recommendations are based on other criteria in addition to price. The procurement document will specify the method of award.

What about bond and insurance requirements?
Bond and insurance may be required for various procurements and these requirements will be specified in the Request for Proposal package.

How do I arrange a visit with the City’s Purchasing Manager?

  • Vendors are encouraged to meet with the Purchasing Manager to ensure that full consideration is provided.
  • Please contact the Purchasing Office at (603) 589-3330 weekdays during the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM to schedule an appointment.
