Phase II Landfill Construction
|
Between May and December 2008, Phase II of the lined expansion landfill will be constructed at the Four Hills facility. The Phase II landfill will provide the City of Nashua with solid waste disposal capacity for at least the next 10 years. In addition to construction of the Phase II landfill, this project includes construction of a soil "berm" wall within the 500-foot residential setback in the Phase I lined landfill, and waste relocation, re-grading and covering in the Phase I landfill as required by our state issued landfill permit.
Periodic updates of construction progress and upcoming activities will be posted on this web page. Additional questions may be directed to the Solid Waste Department at 589-3410.
